Zuri Organic Apparel designs, manufactures, and markets stylish t-shirts and outerwear from certified organic cotton. Unlike regular cotton and most other fibers, organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic pesticides and chemicals. Organic cotton farming leads to less environmental damage and results in a much higher quality fabric. Unlike other companies, we use eco-friendly dyes in order to avoid the harmful bleaches and finishers that are used in standard garment dyeing. And finally, we source according to fair trade principals. Our farmers are paid a premium for their cotton and a number of social projects are taking place within the community where our garments are produced, as to ensure that the benefits of the additional income are fully felt by all members of the community.
